Wildlife helps in maintaining the eco-logical balance of nature. Killing of carnivores leads to an increase in the number of herbivores which in turn affects the forest vegetation, thus due to lack of food in the forest, they come out from the forest to agricultural land and destroy our crops.

Conservation means to prevent waste of a resource. Wildlife conservation can be defined as the practice of protecting animal species and their habitats. Which includes protecting both the animals and their habitat?

The number of corals on the reef has declined by 89% since 2016. The Great Barrier Reef is also supporting thousands of different species and marine mammals. Other examples are shootings of wolves; usually, people do this to protect livestock like sheep rather than invest in fencing or other measure to protect them. There is also a huge problem with captivation of threatened species like elephants.

Biodiversity is one important issue. Reduction in numbers of one animal interrupts the eco system and the natural food chain, and leads to the threat of other species.

Human needs

Reduction in numbers of one animal can also have a chain effect on other species that are important to human beings. All animals play an important role in the eco system. The loss or reduction of certain species can have a flow on effect; including an effect on human food and water source that are critical to our survival.

Wildlife conservation refers to the practice of protecting wild species and their habitats in order to maintain healthy wildlife species or populations and to restore, protect or enhance natural ecosystems. Major threats to wildlife include habitat destruction/degradation/fragmentation, overexploitation, poaching, pollution and climate change. The IUCN estimates that 27,000 species of the ones assessed are at risk for extinction.

Funds requirement:

The issue some people have with asking for donations in person is that it can be a nerve-wracking experience. Not only do you have to successfully pitch your organization’s mission and vision to someone who only has an outsider’s view, but you also have to ask that person to monetarily contribute to your nonprofit. It can be a stressful and time-consuming endeavor.

It’s a urgency & request to all to come forward to donate and make our purpose successful. Our small contribution makes a huge difference in wild life protection. Your small contribution is more valuable for us. So please come forward with an open mind to donate and be a proud citizen of this global village. We are in a mission and be with us to complete this journey.

Make a gift to protect Africa’s most vulnerable species.
