Christian, husband and father, Vincent is a Conservationist– a Rwandan-Ugandan, born in Uganda in 1981. Vincent has a bachelor of Science degree in Tourism Operations Management from Nkumba University, Uganda.

Research Scientist at Czech University of Life Sciences and Usti nad Labem Zoo, Czech Republic. Education: Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of South Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice, CZ D. thesis (2007): Ecology of free-ranging Aye-ayes (Daubentonia madagascariensis) in Madagascar in relation to morphological specializations.

I am a PhD student affiliated to the Royal Museum of Central Africa and KU Leuven. I have a strong background, knowledge and skills in introductory, field and applied Biological disciplines (BSc. Biological studies at Makerere University) and human-environment interactions (MSc Human-Ecology at Vrije Universiteit Brussels).

Mr. MUTANGANA Eugene is a high level enthusiast, optimist and patriot with a professional attitude always committed to serve and deliver quality service in any position he is charged with, at the centre of security mindful.

George is a supremely motivated Apiculture Expert & Environmentalist with strong vision, enthusiasm, and unquenchable thirst to achieve a successful out for the rural communities doing Beekeeping. The vision has included corporate strategy creation, devising innovative ideas and unique skills in Bee keeping and team motivation.

Mr. Wilson Kagoro, is a teacher by profession and a conservationist by practice. Wilson is the Warden Community in Kibale National Park under the Uganda Wildlife Authority. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Makerere University and an M.Sc in Education for Sustainability from London South Bank University.

Dr. Violet Kisakye is a PhD graduate from KU Leuven, Belgium. She also holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Water Resources Management from the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. She specialized in Water and Land resources from the HOORC Institute in the Okavango Delta in Botswana in 2010.

An academician/researcher in the area of natural hazards and very passionate about the environment and natural resources. She is currently a PhD student at the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Belgium, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda.

An international soul at heart and a fierce advocate of biodiversity preservation, Silvia holds a Master´s Degree in English from the University of Seville and a MSc. in Economy and Politics from the Charles University in Prague.

In the framework of promoting conservation of national parks and wildlife reserves through empowerment and educational support of children that live in the borderlines of protected areas, CCP has made a step of establishing schools in the remote areas of Uganda and Rwanda targeting the vulnerable children that live in the borderlines of protected areas.

Hon. Alex is the former President of the International Association for Community Development (IACD) a global network over 1200 members in 54 countries worldwide. Alex is also the founding Director of the Kabarole Research and Resource Centre(KRC) which works with thousands of grass roots families and organizations in Uganda, founding chair of the Uganda Governance Monitoring Programme(UGMP)- a forum that brings together advocacy organizations in Uganda. He is currently the Member of Parliament for Fort Portal Municipality, the Chairperson Rwenzori MPs Forum, Vice Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Trade, Tourism and Industry and a patron of over 40 NGOS, CBOS and SACCOS. Ruhunda is also one of Uganda’s Leading business men, owning a chain of businesses, that include a blog Communications company, DAJ Communications. He Holds A Masters Degree in Gender and community Development as well.

Dr. Marie-France Côté obtained her PhD from the Quebec (Canada) faculty of veterinary medicine in 1996. Becoming a vet is not her only big accomplishment, she is also businesswoman as she owns the clinic that is situated in the province of v Quebec (Canada) where she has been practicing medicine for small animals for the past 22 years. She is passionate about all types of animals, but primates hold a special place in her heart. Growing up, her mentors were: Dr. Jane Goodall, Dr. Dian Fossey and finally Dr. Birute Galdikas. Dr Marie had the privilege of meeting Dr. Goodall and Galdikas. Stopping at nothing, Marie has travelled in Rwanda, Uganda and Borneo so that she could see as many primates as possible at a close range.

Marcus is a student at Bishop Druitt College in New South Wales, Australia. Marcus loves conservation and believes that sustainable conservation of natural resources can best be achieved with the involvement of young people.

Fascinated by natural science I became a laboratory assistant in chemistry. I worked first in Crop Protection and later in Animal Health Business. Currently I am employed in Bachem and I work with Peptides. I am a lover of any kind of animals since I was a child. My parents connected with nature and travelled a lot before my brother and I were born. They taught us respect towards any creature and took us several adventure vacations in the US, Europe and Africa. We had the honour to travel in many African countries. The most impressive ones to me are Kenya, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa due to their amazing wildlife.

I attend Bishop Druitt College in New South Wales, Australia. Through my school trip to Rwanda, I was fortunate enough to join the Children Conservationists Programme. I believe that conservation and education of our beautiful environment are crucial. I am looking forward to visiting Rwanda and Uganda in the next couple of years as a volunteer for CCP.

Marisa Pereira calls herself a world citizen who has lived in several countries, traveled around the world and speaks 6 languages fluently. Born in Portugal, she and her family moved to Germany when she was a young teenager. While her family still lives in Germany to this day, Marisa has lived, worked and studied in Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic, the United States, and moved back to Germany in 2017. She holds a Master’s in Economy and Politics from the Charles University in Prague and a few additional higher education degrees from various universities in Portugal, Belgium and Spain. One of her passions is life long learning, but her biggest passions are human rights, animal rights and the protection of our environment. She was part of environmental demonstrations since she was 15 years old and she chose to write her Masters thesis about Environmental Refugees, something which was not discussed much back in the day.

Alaster is a creative director from the UK currently residing in Sydney, Australia. He has worked in the design and advertising industry for 18 years in the UK, USA, China, Indonesia and Australia. Throughout his career Alaster has worked for global brands such as Nike, Converse, Coke, Mercedes & British Airways along with charitable organisations such as Greenpeace, The Red Cross, Cancer Council & WWF. An awarded entrepreneur, Alaster currently runs a creative collaboration platform and consults with a new global Financial start-up who are creating a new barter currency for the developing world. Alaster’s love for conservation and wildlife brought him to Rwanda in 2007, where he met Vincent (Founder of Children Conservationists Programme & Co-director of Golden Trekkers) while gorilla trekking

Currently working with an Web Developer at Softaid IT – Bangladesh Khulna Sadar. Conservation Network ambassador in charge of IT. I acquired my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science & and Engneering at – North Western University contribution in the implementation and enhancement of this field as I am currently undertaking IT incharge in the online abuses (Web Developer) in Uganda. I am now joining CCP to strengthen the conservation efforts of national parks and wildlife reserves. I value the environment and the conservation of its resources, that is what has driven me to CCP. As a conservation network ambassador, it is my wish that we work together to improve CCP’s information and communication platforms.

Geoffrey is currently the Business Growth and Development Manager (BGDM) at Equity Bank, Kampala Uganda. Previously, he has also held various positions as follows;Private Hunter/Banker at Stanbic Bank; Branch Manager at Barclays Bank; Personal Banker/Senior Supervisor at Barclays Bank; Sales Supervisor at the Monitor Publications Ltd and Loans officer at Hofokam Micro Finance.Geoffrey holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) – Finance both from Makerere University Kampala. He also has a higher Diploma in Marketing (HDM) from Makerere University Business School.Geoffrey has attended various trainings in debt Collection and Control, Fraud detection, prevention and investigation, the loan appraisal process, Money Laundering, Value for Money reviews, Presentation skills, Report Writing Skills, Monitoring and Evaluation skills, Computer skills, Budgeting and planning, etc.Achievements: Several of his subordinates have grown upwards and have taken on greater responsibilities under his stewardship and mentorship. Geoffrey has won several accolades both for self and the team/s he has been working with.
