About CCP FOUNDATION

Mentor a Child to protect the threatened National Parks and Wildlife Reserves for Next Generations

LOGO

CCP Foundation

The Children Conservationists Programme (CCP Foundation) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and youth living near Uganda and Rwanda’s national parks and game reserves.

Supported by Golden Trekkers Africa and generous well-wishers, CCP promotes sustainable conservation through education, leadership development, and community engagement.

We believe that the future of Africa’s wild spaces lies in the hands of the young generation living closest to them. By nurturing awareness and responsibility, we help ensure that Uganda and Rwanda’s pristine wilderness is preserved for generations to come.

We cherish conservation, for in safeguarding nature’s creatures and wild beauty, we quietly preserve the essence of ourselves.

Our Areas

of Operation

We work in communities located within a 10-kilometer radius of key conservation areas, including Akagera National Park in Rwanda, and Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi National Parks in Uganda. These regions are home to rich biodiversity and young minds we aim to empower through environmental education and leadership initiatives.
